One of our many goals is to provide opportunities to give back to our local community through service. Being involved with EYP comes at no cost, but what you will receive out of your service will be valuable. Since EYP began in 2010, we have an interchangeable list of networking options. With each individual that offers their time and guidance, we immediately expand our local outreach.
EYP is designed for individuals wanting to network and serve the Enid area. We work closely with the Greater Enid Area Chamber of Commerce that helps promote and protect the interests of the business community. Each month we plan and attend board meetings, educational lunch and learn sessions open to the public, Thirsty Third Thursdays that promotes a laid back networking environment, volunteer with various community organizations and more. This organization continually searches for involvement and professional growth opportunities. You are invited to attend any of our events and join EYP at anytime.
EYP provides its members with opportunities to build relationships with local community, business and government leaders and gives a voice to EYP’s of all professions.
Events EYP is annually involved in:
Tour De Trykes: A bicycle tour leaving from downtown Enid on Saturday morning with routes of 2 miles, 14 miles, 26 miles, 42 miles and 100K. We will be celebrating our 10th year of hosting this event which draws in about 350 riders. The Tour de Trykes and Criterium raise money for our AMBUCS’ projects which emphasize mobility for those people for whom mobility is difficult. One of the designated projects has been “AmTrykes.” AmTrykes are tricycle-like vehicles specially adapted to allow those with mobility difficulties to be able to ride the bike or trike more easily. Another main project for AMBUCS is the Miracle League. The Miracle League is a collaborative effort of Enid Noon AMBUCS and 4RKids and gives special needs kids and adults the opportunity to play in summer T-Ball games.
"10 Under 40" Awards Ceremony: Within this ceremony, 10 community members under the age of 40 that demonstrate excellence in professional and community focused areas are presented with an honorable plaque and title. This ceremony is specific to EYP.
